Cascatinha Taunay is a charming waterfall tucked away in the Tijuca National Park. This waterfall is special because even though it is not very well known, it is super easy to reach it. You can get here by car, there is a parking lot right around the corner.

It is not possible to bathe directly in the waterfall, but a lot of people come here during the weekend to swim in the river afterward. I personally don't find it a great spot for swimming but it is a beautiful spot to visit.
