Confeitaria Colombo is a charming coffeehouse located in downtown Rio de Janeiro, Brazil. Established in 1894 by Portuguese immigrants, this café boasts stunning architecture inspired by European cafes from the belle époque era. With its Art Nouveau interior featuring crystal mirrors and wooden furniture crafted by artisans, Confeitaria Colombo became a popular hangout for Brazilian writers, artists, and intellectuals.

Over the years, it became a landmark in the city. There is usually a waiting line outside of people waiting to be seated. Most of the times I have been here were for snacks and coffee, but they also serve lunch. Everything is delicious, but you can expect to pay a bit higher price compared to other cafes in the city.
