The Malacca River Walk stretches along both sides of the Melaka River, linking the old town’s main attractions with cafés, murals, and lively evening lights. It’s one of the best ways to experience the city’s charm — you can stroll past restored shophouses, watch boats glide by, and stop for drinks or street snacks along the way.

At night, the riverbanks glow with colourful lights, making it a popular spot for photos and evening walks. The path is mostly flat and easy to follow, with plenty of shaded areas during the day. Start near Dutch Square and continue toward Kampung Morten for a full view of the city’s riverside life.
