The Bornean Sun Bear Conservation Centre, located in Sepilok, is dedicated to rescuing and rehabilitating sun bears — the world’s smallest bear species. Visitors can observe these endangered animals from elevated walkways as they roam and climb in their natural forest habitat. Informative displays explain the center’s conservation efforts and the challenges these bears face in the wild.

The centre is right next to the Sepilok Orangutan Rehabilitation Centre, making it easy to visit both in one trip. Go in the morning when the bears are most active and visible from the viewing platforms.
