Kealakekua Bay is a rad spot in South Kona, about 12 miles from Kailua-Kona, where you can snorkel, dive, and kayak in crystal-clear waters teeming with tropical fish. It's also got a cool historic vibe because it's where Captain Cook first landed in Hawaii back in the day. You can chill at the picnic area, check out the Captain Cook Monument, or spy on spinner dolphins if you're lucky. Plus, there's a sacred temple dedicated to the Hawaiian god Lono nearby. So, if you're into history, water adventures, or just soaking up some sun, Kealakekua Bay is the place to be!
