Antalya Necropol Museum is a lesser-known but fascinating museum that showcases burial traditions from ancient Antalya and the surrounding region.

The museum displays sarcophagi, rock-cut tombs, funerary inscriptions, and grave goods dating back to the Roman and earlier periods. What makes it particularly interesting is how it presents the concept of the “necropolis” meaning “city of the dead” and explains ancient beliefs about the afterlife.
