Apollon Temple is one of the most iconic landmarks of Side, standing right by the Mediterranean Sea. Built in the 2nd century AD during the Roman period, the temple was dedicated to Apollo, the god of light, music, and prophecy.

Although only a few columns remain standing today, the site has a powerful atmosphere, especially with the sea as its backdrop. The white marble columns glow beautifully at sunset, making it one of the most photographed spots in Antalya.

The temple is located within the ancient city of Side, so you can easily combine your visit with exploring the amphitheater, agora, and old city walls. The surrounding promenade is lined with cafés and restaurants, perfect for a relaxed dinner with sea views.
