This is the so called Schäfler viewpoint right behind the hut. It takes you about 15 min to get there. However, keep in mind it is very steep and therefore you need the right shoes. There are also everywhere indications to be careful. But of course the view is absolutely unique.

You can also get further towards Säntis where you find some more really nice photography spots but of course only when you do not struggle with anxiety of hights.
