Rjúkandi, also known as Rjúkandafoss, is a majestic waterfall in Iceland that stands at 305 feet tall. It's not your average roadside attraction, as it's one of the lesser-known waterfalls along the Ring Road. The waterfall is formed by the Ysta-Rjúkandi river and offers a short and easy hike to a viewing area. If you're up for a little adventure, there's a secondary trail that leads to the top of the waterfall for a bird's eye view of the Jökuldalur valley. So, if you find yourself cruising through the Eastern Region of Iceland, make sure to stop by Rjúkandi and soak in its natural beauty!
