Morsárfoss is Iceland's tallest waterfall, standing at a whopping 787 feet. Located in the southeast part of Iceland, this majestic waterfall is hidden away in the Skaftafell Nature Preserve within Vatnajökull National Park. Discovered in 2007, Morsárfoss gets its water from the melting ice of the Morsárjökull glacier above. Although it's not easy to hike directly to the waterfall due to dangers of falling ice, you can catch a glimpse of it from Route 1 or enjoy a distant view from the Kristínartindar Peak Ascent trail. So, if you're up for an adventure and want to witness Iceland's tallest waterfall, Morsárfoss is definitely worth checking out!
