If you're looking for a great trail that blends both bush and creekside views, the Cossey-Massey Loop Track is a great walk to get your legs moving. This track is located in the Waitakere Ranges and is a scenic 8.6 km loop, which usually takes around 3 hours to complete. The trail is a moderate hike that takes you through lush rainforest, with glimpses of cascading waterfalls and the serene Cossey and Massey creeks along the way. Be prepared for some uphill sections that make the stunning views worth it. 

While I didn’t get the chance to walk it myself, I’ve heard nothing but great things, so definitely add it to your list if you’re in the area and have the time and energy.
