Marshalls Animal Park is hands down my absolute favourite petting zoo in the whole North Island! If you’re heading to McLaren Falls, this place is the perfect stop right after. For just $15 to get in as an adult, you get up-close encounters with the sweetest mix of domestic and exotic animals. The animals here are beyond friendly, it’s unreal. You can pick up guinea pigs and snuggle with them, feed the adorable creatures, and just roam around enjoying the vibe. There are also flying foxes, a playground for the little ones, and the most stunning panoramic views. It’s the ideal spot for families, school trips, or any animal lover looking for a fun, feel-good day out.
