It's a picturesque fine sand beach, tucked beneath a medieval castle on the south coast of Crete. With its turquoise waters and relaxed atmosphere, its ideal for families and couples looking to unwind. It is well organised and is quiet busy in summer months. The only problem is the often irritating winds from the North with a lot of sand. Shallow waters and not many waves, perfect for children. The beach is also known for its castle and mountainous backdrop, making it a great spot for photos.
