bericht van Emma Wallond

City Hall Square, also known as Rådhusplassen, is a lively square located between Oslo City Hall and the Oslofjord. Once a busy highway, it was transformed into a car-free recreational area in 1994. The square boasts a rich history, with construction of the city hall starting in 1931 and the square being officially named in 1934. Today, it serves as a popular spot for locals and tourists to enjoy the urban open space and take in the scenic views of the surrounding landmarks like Akershus Fortress and the Oslofjord. Grab food from one of the food trucks, or go on to Aker Brygge for a drink. The National Museum is also located here!
