Nanzoin Temple in Japan's Fukuoka is home to the awe-inspiring Nehanzo statue of the Reclining Buddha. Purported to be the largest bronze statue in the world, measuring at 41 meters in length and weighing 300 tons, it is certainly a sight to behold! Its construction was commissioned by Myanmar Buddhist Council to honor Japan’s aid to the country for many years. The temple is also renowned for its Sasaguri Pilgrimage and features an array of shrines, over 500 statues of the Buddha's disciples and a Fudo Myo-o statue. Visiting this temple complex is sure to be a fulfilling experience!
