Fushimi-Momoyama Castle, also known as Fushimi Castle or Momoyama Castle, is a Japanese castle located in Fushimi Ward, Kyoto. Constructed by Toyotomi Hideyoshi in the late 16th century as his retirement residence, the castle was famous for its Golden Tea Room covered in gold leaf. Despite being destroyed and rebuilt multiple times, the current replica stands near the original site and serves as a museum of Hideyoshi's life and campaigns. Although closed to the public since 2003, the castle grounds were reopened in 2007, offering visitors a glimpse into Japan's rich history.
