bericht van Mari

The Noto Peninsula, located in Ishikawa Prefecture on Japan's main island of Honshū, juts out into the Sea of Japan. Before modern times, it was part of Noto Province. Known for its agriculture, fisheries, and tourism, this picturesque peninsula is divided into three regions: Kuchi-Noto, Naka-Noto, and Oku-Noto. It has been featured in various films, including "Zero Focus" and "Maborosi." The area is accessible by JR Nanao Line, Noto Railway, and Noto Airport. Despite occasional earthquakes, the Noto Peninsula was designated as a Globally Important Agricultural Heritage System in 2011.
