Mount Maunganui Beachside Holiday Park is the ultimate beachfront getaway at the base of Mauao. The holiday park is slap bang in front of Mount Maunganui Main Beach, which means it's in a ridiculously good location. You'll be able to park your caravan or pitch a tent and not move either for the whole of your holiday (as someone with a rooftop tent, this is the dream!)

If you love walking, you'll be pleased to know that the campsite is right at the start of the Mauao Summit track (perfect for sunrise) and the Mauao Base Loop. Or, head to the beach to swim, sunbathe or take surf lessons. When you get hungry, there are plenty of cafes just 2 minutes walk across the road.

Facilities: The campsite offers everything from a communal kitchen and dining area to hot showers and laundry. It has recently been expanded and upgraded, so it now offers powered and non-powered sites and fully equipped cabins.
