Tindhólmur is a cool little islet in the Faroe Islands that's all about contrasts. One side is lush green hills, while the other is sheer basalt cliffs. It's uninhabited except for some sheep, and you can get up close on a boat tour from Sørvágur. If you're lucky, you might spot puffins nesting there in the summer. Plus, the views from above are epic – especially if you catch a flight into Vágar Airport.

It is possible to go on the island, but it needs planning in the off season. However in summer time the ferry to Mykines makes a trip every Sunday (if the weather allows) and you can stay on the island for a few hours. To see when there are trips in summer time you can visit the website Mykines.fo

If you want to go on a private tour it is also possible, but you need to contact me directly. I can make it happen as I took groups for photography before.
