We strongly believe that Tunisia is one of the most underrated destinations in the world. This North African country boasts everything from Roman ruins and underground cave homes to stunning seaside towns and desert oases and landscapes. This country was not on our bucket lists, but we decided to go on a whim, and we had the time of our lives!

We ended up spending a month in Tunisia, and we absolutely fell in love with the country. We spent the majority of our time in the capital city of Tunis, which we got to know pretty well, especially our neighborhood of La Marsa.

However, we also spent a good amount of time road tripping through the country, visiting almost all of the country’s main sites: Dougga, Kairouan, El Jem, Sousse, Hammamet, Tozeur, Douz, and Matmata.

As a severely underrated country to visit with not a lot of info online on how to travel this country, we want to share our knowledge of Tunisia so that others can experience it and fall in love with it too.
