bericht van Tom & Laura

Standing atop the 250 foot cliff face, this winding stone staircase was carved into the rock in 1793 and is the only way to access the secluded Scottish harbor below. It passes down through the cliff in a zig-zag pattern, over 330 steps spiralling around the cliffs edge. With its breath-taking views, this amazing feat of engineering is something to behold and you can walk all the way to the bottom. Just remember you need to walk back up!

Note: If you are trying to photograph the steps form the other side this is now impossible due to the land on the other side being private.
