The Othello Tunnels are a series of old train tunnels cut through granite rock. These historic tunnels were part of the Kettle Valley Railway which has now been transformed to a multi-use recreational trail.

The very flat path offers great views of tall canyon cliffs, a fast moving river and, of course, the rugged tunnels themselves.

Othello Tunnels are usually open from April to the end of October. Due to significant damage in November 2021, the opening dates have been variable in the last few years. The Tunnels fully opened for the first time in early October 2025, closing again at the end of the month until spring.
