Confiserie Beschle is a cozy patisserie and cake shop located in Basel, Switzerland. This isa local institution unique to Basel and has been in existence since 1898!
They are very well known for their delectable pastries and chocolates, and is a must-visit for anyone with a sweet tooth. The coffee here is not great though so don't have high expectations for it, but every single one of their pastries deserves two huge thumbs up, I highly recommend trying their classic St Honoré (with nuts, light cream and caramel) and the Beschle Ring, I ate them both by myself and it wasn't enough!
Bread and pastries are priced decently from 5-9 CHF, sandwiches from 12-15CHF. I did not try their chocolate offerings but they also look exquisite, and I believe would be a good pick for some local chocolates.
The interior is also beautiful and spacious: a unique wallpaper, with colors in blue tone and copperware hanging as aesthetics decor. The space is also large and spacious, one can sit at a table and feel a bit of privacy.
Note: They have other outlets at Schneidergasse, SET Hotel.Residence by Teufelhof Basel, Aeschenvorstadt, but the one at Clarastrasse is the prettiest one in my opinion!
