If you aren't visiting the Maison Cailler in western Switzerland, then Lindt Home of Chocolate is a definite must visit to learn about the famous Swiss milk chocolate. In a cool new building designed by famous architects Christ & Gantenbein, it is the dream paradise for chocolate lovers from all over the world!

First, they've got this super interactive multimedia show that takes you through seven unique chocolate worlds, tickling all your senses. You get to learn everything there is to know about chocolate, from how cocoa is grown to the rich history of chocolate, and of course, tasting some top-notch Swiss chocolate from a free-flowing chocolate dispensor! And if you're into it, you can even check out the latest high-tech production and automation tricks at their demo factory.

If you're not into the chocolate tour, I HIGHLY recommend signing up for one of their public chocolate making workshops (usually lasting around 50 minutes to an hour, booking online highly recommended.) They recently opened up new workshops and now you can learn how to make chocolate bars, chocolate lollipops, even CHAMPAGNE TRUFFLES (only for adults)! It's really such a delightful and unforgettable experience both for kids and for adults! I did this workshop before and was so pleased with the chocolate bar I made all by myself.

There is also the Lindt chocolate café which you can visit after the workshop/tour for lunch. They sell chocolatey surprises like Lindt chocolates of course, warm hot chocolates, waffles, icecream and also some salads.
