Message from Dana R.

Látrabjarg in the Westfjords of Iceland is a massive seabird cliff, home to millions of puffins and other bird species.

Visitors can get up close and personal with these feathered friends, but remember to give them some space and take the pictures from a safe distance.

Location: Látrabjarg is located on the westernmost tip of the Westfjords peninsula in Iceland.

Accessibility: To reach Látrabjarg, you can drive on Route 612 from the town of Patreksfjörður or Route 612 from the town of Bíldudalur. The roads leading to Látrabjarg are generally paved but narrow and winding in places. From the parking area, there is a short walk to viewpoints along the cliff edge.

Facilities: Facilities at Látrabjarg include parking areas, basic amenities, and information boards about the birds and the area's natural history.
