The Gay Parita Service Station is a cherished landmark along Route 66 in Missouri, located between Halltown and Spencer, approximately 25 miles west of Springfield. Established in the 1930s by Fred and Gay Mason, the original Sinclair station became a popular stop for travelers until it burned down in 1955.​

In the early 2000s, Gary Turner and his wife, Lena, reconstructed the station, recreating its 1930s appearance. Gary, known for his warm hospitality, transformed the site into a gathering place for Route 66 enthusiasts, filling the property with vintage vehicles and memorabilia. After Gary's passing in 2015, his daughter, Barbara Barnes, continued to welcome visitors, maintaining the station's legacy as a must-visit destination for travelers seeking a glimpse into Route 66's storied past
