You can see the lighthouse — as it should be — from far away. But if you go looking for it by car, it takes a bit of searching. It’s actually tucked away between houses in a residential area. Impressive, of course. It’s open to visitors and after an endless climb of stairs you’re rewarded with the view. What we also loved: we could see the lighthouse working at night. That felt really special. We’ve seen many lighthouses, but never one in action after dark. Open during the spring holidays, weekends, public holidays in May and June, and throughout July and August.
