Tutukaka is such a cute little town with absolutely stunning coastal views! If you're cruising around Northland, definitely make a stop here to do the Tutukaka Lighthouse Walk. It’s a super family-friendly walk, pretty much flat until you hit the stairs down to the ocean, and it leads you to this unique lighthouse with incredible panoramic views of the coastline and Poor Knights Islands. It's 2.4km in total and will take you around 1 hour to complete.

One thing to note though, is to make sure you time your visit for low tide. You’ll need to walk along the water’s edge to reach the lighthouse, and high tide makes it a no-go. The views are so worth it, especially on a sunny day, so snap some Insta-worthy shots and take it all in.
