This is a balcony viewpoint with stunning views. The viewpoint is located in Montado do Paredão, on the road connecting Curral das Freiras to Pico do Arieiro. It has 2 parts. One balcony is overlooking Curral das Freiras, and the other balcony has views over the city of Funchal. The viewpoint overlooking Funchal is made of traditional materials: rocks and wood. In our opinion this one is more picturesque and less busy. You can find it if you follow the path heading uphill from the path to the lower viewpoint.
