After catching sunrise at Mormon Row, we cruised over to Leeks Marina Picnic Area, roughly an hours drive its a perfect stop for anyone wanting to enjoy a meal wrapped in pure mountain serenity. With gorgeous lake views and the Tetons rising in the distance, the picnic tables practically beg you to sit down, relax, and soak it all in. There’s even a pizza restaurant on site!

Unfortunately, it was under renovation when we arrived, so instead we wandered along the pebbly lakeshore, attempting a few rock skips and enjoying the calm. Hardly anyone was around, making the whole spot feel peaceful, quiet, and beautifully untouched.

On the drive you will pass Schwabacher Landing again for some more photo opportunities as well as the Elk Flat turn out. The Elk Flats turn out had beautiful mountain backdrops with horses grazing in the field.
