Bauschänzli has a special kind of magic for me. I have celebrated birthdays here, had drinks under the trees and enjoyed some of the best views of Zurich, right where the lake meets the Limmat. The place feels friendly, easy and full of summer energy, with the Old Town, the water and the city all around you. Right next to it is Frauenbad Stadthausquai, a women’s badi during the day and a bar in the evening. For me, Bauschänzli is one of those places where Zurich feels warm, social and unforgettable.
