Chli Aubrig is an incredibly rewarding mountain trail near Zurich for hikers of all levels.

HIKE DETAILS:

Start at Sattelegg Pass that is only accessible by car. Park at the huge parking lot near the restaurant. The trail is mostly dirt path and you need to follow the signs towards Chli Aubrig.

After about 3,5 km hike later, you arrive at Wildegg where you can find benches to rest and a small house , from there the you can reach the peak in about 700 meters.

On the top you can find a cross and a visitor books. If a peak has them I always sign :)

On the way back you can either hike back the same way or from Wildegg continue on the left to finish the loop.

If you decide to do the entire loop, you will end up completing 9,5 km of hiking with about 400 meters of elevation.

In winter you can go sledding on the hills at the beginning of the hike but the trail is too narrow at some part to hike them.
