The Britannia Hut:

The Britannia Hut is a one of the most frequently visited alpine huts in the Alps. With both winter and summer seasons, you can enjoy a really fantastic experience when hiking and staying over at the hut. The glacier view that you get once you arrive at the hut is just from another world 🥹You truly wouldn't think that all of this hides behind the last hill that you have to walk up on the hike.

This is truly one of my favourite hut views out there. There is also a small peak right next to the hut marked as a blue white blue hiking trail that is up even higher than the hut and gives you the best view also over the Mattmark lake. Definitely worth to have a look.

I highly recommend that you prebook your stay and do it early enough especially if you want to stay on a weekend. Because this hut is so popular, it also books out really quickly.
