Tumamoc Hill Hiking Trail is a popular spot in Tucson, Arizona for outdoor enthusiasts looking to get some exercise and enjoy scenic views. Tumamoc Hill is an active study site and ecological reserve of the University of Arizona. Guests are invited to walk the Hill every day from 4 am to 10 pm. It is required to stay on the paved road and within the overlook areas noted by perimeter cables.

The trail is about 1.5 miles long and 3 miles roundtrip and offers a moderate workout with a steady incline, which is a 721 foot rise in elevation from bottom to top. Hikers can expect to see desert vegetation, wildlife, and maybe even catch a beautiful sunset if they time their hike right. There are benches where you can sit an soak in the views.

If you come by bike, you must lock it at the entrance as bikes are not allowed on the trail. Dogs are also not allowed. If you come by car, park your car on the street along Anklam Road. Avoid parking in the lots of Saint Mary's Hospital or the medical offices along Anklam Road. Those spaces are reserved for physicians, employees of the medical facilities, as well as patients and their families and they do heavily enforce this.
