The Kamahi Loop Track is a great way to explore the lush and mysterious 'Goblin Forest' of Egmont National Park in Taranaki, New Zealand.

This short yet rewarding loop track starts just above the Stratford Mountain House, 15 km along Pembroke Road.

Through lush rainforests, discover twisted kamahi trunks covered with mosses and ferns as you follow the path.

The entire walk takes 15-30 minutes, making it the perfect relaxing experience for anyone looking for nature and adventure.

Photography info: Although it's only a short forest walk, it is absolutely worth it to see all the twisted trunks and mossy covered trees. It is quite dark in there so I would advise taking your tripod with you and going during the daylight hours so you can get as much light as possible.
