Jemeluk Bay in Amed is one of Bali’s hidden gems for snorkeling, super underrated and way more low-key than the tourist-packed spots. The water is calm, the reef is vibrant, and the views of Mount Agung in the background? Insane. Just a few strokes from the shore and you're already swimming over colorful corals, schools of tropical fish, and if you're lucky, even giant clams. It’s peaceful, authentic, and has that “old Bali” feel that’s getting harder to find. Just be mindful of the fishing boats and, sadly, the occasional plastic drifting through. But overall? It’s a must for anyone looking for an easy, beautiful snorkel day without the crowds.
