You’ll find Goðafoss easily off the Ring Road with a short walk from the parking area to multiple viewpoints on both riverbanks. There is no entrance fee. Go early morning or late evening to avoid crowds and get the best light for photos; in winter bring crampons and extra time for snow. Plan 30–60 minutes for the stop and combine it with nearby sights rather than making it your only destination as it is pretty quick. These pictures are at sunset.
