Kultaranta is the stunning summer residence of the President of Finland, located on the beautiful island of Naantali. Even if you can’t go inside the palace, the gardens and park are open to visitors and are absolutely worth exploring. There are flowers everywhere, fountains and so many amazing photo spots.
LOCAL TIP: Visit in the morning or late afternoon to avoid crowds, especially during summer weekends. The gardens are at their best in mid-summer, when the flowers are in full bloom. Don’t forget to bring a camera, it’s one of the most photogenic spots in Naantali.
HOW TO GET THERE: Kultaranta is located just a few kilometers from Naantali town centre. You can drive, bike, or even take a summer ferry from Naantali to the island. There’s limited parking near the entrance, so coming early is a good idea.
COST: Entrance to the gardens is paid, but it’s very reasonable considering the beauty and upkeep. Check the official website for current prices and opening hours.
