Next, head to Lake Tarnița, one of the most beautiful natural escapes near Cluj-Napoca. Rent a kayak, paddle board, or pedal boat and spend a few hours exploring the crystal-clear waters surrounded by forested hills.

Keep in mind that traffic between Tarnița, Gilău, Florești, and Cluj can become quite heavy, particularly on weekends and during summer evenings. Allow extra travel time and avoid rushing your schedule.
