The Leaderfoot Viaduct, also known as the Drygrange Viaduct, is a historic railway bridge that spans the River Tweed near Melrose in the Scottish Borders. Built in 1863, this impressive structure features 19 arches made of stone and brick, standing 126 feet above the river valley. Despite facing potential demolition in the 1980s, the viaduct was saved and renovated in the 1990s, now serving as a picturesque reminder of Scotland's railway heritage. It's easy to see just off the main road and you can walk alongside the river, as well as rent kayaks and pass through it!

Fun fact: parts of the film "Indiana Jones and the Dial of Destiny" were filmed here, pretending to be in Switzerland!
