Prince Albert’s Pyramid is a hidden wonder situated in the stunning Balmoral Estate, located within the Cairngorms National Park in Aberdeenshire.

Built of rough granite stone in 1861, the pyramid (or Cairn as it is really known) stands at 12.5 meters square – built in memory of Queen Victoria’s husband Prince Albert after he passed away.

The walk up the Cairn is beautiful and features other smaller monuments. The path is easy to follow but the terrain can be quite steep.

Visitors can enjoy breathtaking views of the royal estate and Cairngorms National Park as they reach the top.

See the link for advice on the walk.
