Aesthetic interior, creative breakfast menu — homemade granola bowls, eggs benedict on brioche, shakshuka, pancakes with mascarpone, decent flat whites. €12–18 per dish. No reservations: arrive before 10am on weekdays, before 9am on weekends, otherwise expect a 20-minute wait. Big windows, lots of natural light, easy walk into the English Garden afterwards. Closed early evenings. The walk from here south through Schwabing's quiet streets toward Munich Residence is one of the prettiest residential strolls in the city.
