Located in the stunning Madeira Natural Park, Parque das Queimadas via Um Caminho para Todos trail is a popular destination for birding and hiking. It is an out-and-back 4 km route that takes approximately 1 hour and 10 minutes to complete. The trail can get a bit muddy which adds to the fun of exploring. As you make your way along the path marvel at the beautiful environment with a small pond and picnic area. For a journey back in time head to the Queimadas shelter house, made out of a typical structure of the 19th and 20th century touristic destination. It is a perfect spot to enjoy the lush green forest and its peacefulness.
