One of the most cinematic mountain roads in the Dolomites, Passo Giau is famous for its endless serpentine turns, dramatic alpine scenery, and panoramic viewpoints overlooking some of the most iconic peaks in Northern Italy. At 2,236 meters above sea level, the pass connects Cortina d’Ampezzo with Selva di Cadore and offers one of the most unforgettable drives in the entire region.

The road itself is the main attraction. Endless hairpin turns wind through alpine meadows beneath massive Dolomite peaks, creating incredible views in almost every direction. It’s especially popular among photographers, cyclists, motorcyclists, and roadtrip travelers.
