Street Parade is one of the events I look forward to the most in Zurich. For one day, the city feels completely different: louder, freer, a little crazy in the best way, and full of people dancing by the lake. What I love most is the mix of music, tolerance and community. Everyone seems to be there to have fun and enjoy the city together. It can get very crowded, so if you are claustrophobic, stay a bit away from the busiest areas. Go with friends, stay close to them, drink water and enjoy the energy. Zurich really feels alive on this day!
