Field of Light is a huuuge light installation near Uluru, made up of around 50,000 solar-powered lights of different colours spread across the desert.
The lights cover an area bigger than 7 football fields, with Uluru sitting in the background. It’s absolutely incredible, and one of those experiences that’s really hard to get across in photos.
The only way to visit it is with a sunrise/sunset tour, as the site is in a remote area near the resort. There are also longer dinner-style experiences if you want to make a proper night of it.
We honestly think it’s something everyone should do when visiting Uluru, it will blow your mind!
We booked a 30-minute sunrise tour and it wasn’t enough. Definitely book a longer option, you won’t regret it!
If we were to do it again, we’d go with a sunrise tour like this one.
