Kitee truly impresses with its majestic stone church! Up to this point on our journey, nearly all the churches we’ve visited have been made of wood—so it was refreshing and striking to see a solid stone structure like this one. And wow, Kitee has truly given its best here too!

The church sits proudly on a hill, and it’s impossible not to admire its strength and grandeur. You get the feeling that no storm could bring it down—it’s just that sturdy and well built. What amazed us even more were the beautiful details—craftsmanship that turns stone into art.
