This was the first café we visited in Belgrade and the place where we sat down to enjoy our very first Serbian breakfast, a burek we had just picked up from a nearby local bakery 😍

Coincidentally, the café was located right in front of our first Airbnb, which we absolutely loved. We would have happily extended our stay there if there had been availability. We've pinned the Airbnb on the map as well in case you're looking for accommodation in the area.

To be honest, there wasn't anything particularly remarkable about the café itself. We only had coffee here, and it was perfectly good ☕️👌 Yet somehow, it's one of the places we remember fondly. Maybe it was the excitement of arriving in a new city, maybe it was the excellent burek, or maybe it was simply that feeling when a trip is just beginning and everything feels full of possibility.
