This church, dedicated to Our Lady of the Pillar, was built in 1732 by Franciscan monks. This is the second oldest church in the city, just behind the Iglesia de San Ignacio in San Telmo.

With its baroque main altarpiece, unique Inca ornamentation, and exquisite silverwork from Peru, this historic church is a must-see for visitors just a few steps from the Recoleta Cemetery.
