Galerías Pacífico is a mall but you aren't here for the shopping. This place is like an architectural masterpiece with murals by local artists decorating its central dome.

Originally built in 1889, it has served a lot of purposes, namely as offices for the country's railway. Today it, obviously, houses a shopping mall. There's a food court in the basement and expensive shops all around but what I want you to do is make a beeline for the central dome.

View it from different angles, I like to see it from above but definitely take the stairs down to the lower level to gawk from below. If you want to rest your feet there's a cafe here below the dome.
